Announcing the Mike Silva Memorial Year-End Tournament
It is our honour to associate Mike Silva's name to this year's season ending tournament. Mike was an asset to BOSL and a friend to all who knew him. Thanks for the suggestion and we are happy to oblige. Of course there are so many BOSL hall of famers and many that deserve awards and tournaments named after them. The winner of this tournament wins the ANDY SMITH award. It's a sad year for us all, losing Mike Silva along with Jim Nisbet, Jerry Large and Gary Wright, not to mention this being the final season for such great players as Mike Porkolab, Todd Parker and Steve Koritko. Here's to all the new BOSL players - we hope you all get involved and join in the fun.
Food Donations at the Year End
The Burlington Food Bank has never been so low on food donations. Customers have been icreasing in numbers to never seen before levels for our store. We will be on hand at the Year-End Tournament on the Saturday to accept any food donations.
Here is a list of what they are currently in need of:
