Our BOSL family lost another good person. Our heart felt thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends and teammates of Rhys Westmoreland. (Ron Evinou)

WESTMORELAND, Rhys Steven After 59 years of living life large, with broken hearts we announce the passing of our husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, on Monday, September 10, 2018 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Rhys is survived by his loving wife Kim (nee House) of 30 years and his son Brent (Lacey), loving son of Shirley (Al deceased), brother of Mike (Lorrie) and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Rhys was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, passionate bowler, baseball player and fisherman.

Service to be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018, 2 p.m. at Gateway Church, 15 Haldimand 66, Caledonia, ON N3W 1N7 with Celebration of Life to follow.

The family wishes to extend their utmost appreciation for all the excellent and compassionate care provided at the Juravinski Hospital - especially to the Hematology Dept. Heartfelt thanks to Gateway Church for all their support, comfort and assistance. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Gateway Church, Caledonia or Juravinski Hospital.
