Willard G. Pilatzke was an active member in the league until his untimely death June 23, 1993 at the age of 71. He was an honourable member of our Royal Canadian Air Force and served during WW2. This award is given each year to the player who best exemplifies the "Spirit of the League".

The Dave Little Award is presented annually to the team finishing the regular season in first place. Dave Little has been a member of the League since 1987; served on the Board 1989 to 1999; 3 terms as President 1993 to 1995; captained teams several times; and in his own words, still an active player with diminishing skills but as always enjoying tremendously the camaraderie and fellowship of the best baseball league anywhere.

Ron Wilson volunteers every season to help with our tournaments. He has been one of our most favourite Umpires for years and is a much -loved member of BOSL.
